Overview
We are seeking a Bilingual Education Champion to support urban students by providing one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects (Math, Reading, Writing, Literacy) and exam prep. You’ll work with teachers and school leaders to develop engaging, personalized learning strategies and help bridge language gaps to ensure every student has the support they need. This role emphasizes a commitment to educational equity and social impact. Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects (Math, Reading, Writing, Literacy) and exam prep for students in grades K-5. Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop engaging, personalized learning plans. Bridge language gaps to support bilingual students and ensure access to instruction in both English and the student’s home language where appropriate. Participate in ongoing training and maintain alignment with program goals and instructional standards. Qualifications
Passion for learning and commitment to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved and bilingual students. Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a related field. Bilingual proficiency: fluent in English and a second language, with the ability to provide academic support in both languages. Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school and participate in monthly training. Collaborative spirit and readiness to work closely with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success. Compensation & Schedule
Competitive pay in the following ranges: In-Person Programs: $25–$27/hr; program completion bonus up to 10% of total program earnings. Flexible schedule: 10–35 hours per week. About the Role
