Senior Industrial Engineer
with deep expertise in
engineer-to-order (ETO)
and
continuous improvement . This organization is known for its commitment to innovation and engineering excellence. At the
Minneapolis facility , the team designs and builds
custom automation systems
for complex, low-volume production environments. What You’ll Do Lead transformative lean initiatives across operations Identify and implement impactful enhancements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost Quality & Root Cause Analysis Manage systems for tracking and resolving quality issues Conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPA Collaborate cross-functionally to promote a quality-first culture Develop training programs and competency tracking Continuously improve SOPs and work instructions Analyze operational data to identify trends and inefficiencies Create dashboards and KPIs to support decision-making Enhance ERP workflows (BOMs, routing, material flow) Support upgrades, process mapping, and user training Optimize manufacturing processes tailored to ETO workflows Support capacity planning and scalability Partner with internal teams and suppliers to drive strategic initiatives Ensure manufacturability and process efficiency from order to delivery What You Bring Bachelor’s in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering (Master’s preferred) 8+ years in ETO or low-volume, high-mix/ customization manufacturing experience Experience with quality systems, root cause tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D), and CAPA Background in SOP development and ERP improvement initiatives Strong communication and facilitation skills Proficient in lean principles and continuous improvement Skilled in Excel, Power BI, Tableau Familiar with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume environment ✅ 3 weeks of paid time off (PTO) ✅ Medical, dental, and vision insurance (HSA/FSA options) ✅ Company-paid life and AD&D insurance ✅ Short-term & long-term disability coverage ✅ Tax-free health, dental, and dependent care accounts ✅ 401(k) with company match ✅ Employee stock purchase plan ✅ Employee assistance program ✅ Annual discretionary bonus eligibility ✅ Adoption assistance Interested?
