$160,000 – $170,000

ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: The Manufacturing Engineer will oversee the assembly and testing of advanced jet engines, driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and quality across the production line. This hands-on role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like aerospace environment and is passionate about LEAN manufacturing and world-class production standards.

Key Responsibilities: Lead all assembly and testing processes for small turbojet engines. Develop and deliver training materials for assembly technicians. Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards. Conduct inspections and testing to verify functionality and quality. Create and refine process documentation and corrective action systems (CAR). Design and implement LEAN manufacturing processes, including Kaizen and 5S initiatives. Use root-cause tools (5 Whys, Fault Tree Analysis) to resolve production issues. Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across all manufacturing operations.

BACKGROUND PROFILE: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience (5+ years). Hands-on experience in aerospace or industrial manufacturing engineering. Proficiency in assembly processes, tooling, and ERP systems. Experience with LEAN / Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred). Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills. Knowledge of safety and quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001). Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-output manufacturing setting (able to lift up to 50 lbs).
