Withum . Withum’s Tax Services Group is made up of tax specialists who ensure tax reporting obligations are met accurately and timely and help minimize or defer taxes. Their services include Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, as well as International and Private Client services. As a Healthcare Tax Manager based out of any of our New Jersey, NYC, San Francisco, or Philadelphia offices, you’ll work with an integrated team of seasoned CPAs and industry leaders. In this position, you will take a lead role on all aspects of tax engagements, supervise/mentor staff, and build/maintain relationships with clients. How You’ll Spend Your Time Coordinating as part of the healthcare services group tax team on the review and filing of annual tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120-S. Working on various tax consulting special projects. Attending professional tax webinars and presentations to the healthcare industry. Providing day-to-day tax assistance to healthcare industry clients. Supporting and coordinating with the healthcare group’s audit and consulting teams. Contributing to the continued development of staff and the growth of the firm’s healthcare niche practice. The kinds of people we want to talk to have many of the following: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license, JD, or a Master of Science in Taxation. At least 5 years of prior experience in a public accounting tax department, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff. Excellent analytical and technical tax skills. Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships. Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment. Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to clients’ management.
