Overview
Sr. Business Analyst, National Partner Operations is a critical member of the NAM team, responsible for managing ~40% of the total premium within the Independent Agency Distribution channel (~$7B). This role drives profitable growth by delivering analyses, operational support, and high-impact project deliverables for national agency partners. Responsibilities
Identify business processes to review and perform research by gathering data from various sources (e.g., operational data, metrics, competitor information, and partner feedback) to recommend strategies that drive profitable growth across national partners. Systems leveraged include Salesforce, SAS Viya, Snowflake, PowerBI, Excel and other internal reporting tools. Analyze information to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and insights using descriptive analytics. Enable National Relationship Executives to achieve financial targets with national agency partners by producing monthly/quarterly reports and relevant insights. Use data visualization tools to communicate insights as needed. Manage NAM data accuracy and coding within Salesforce to drive accurate reporting and surface insights for national partners. Assist in building business cases for changes to practices, programs, or procedures. Conduct current state assessments, opportunity assessments, cost/benefit analyses, feasibility assessments, etc., and support implementation and evaluation of process changes. Serve as NAM representative and data SME across USRM reporting builds to ensure NAM needs are considered in new reporting. As needed, act as primary point of contact/advocate/SME for NAM across IA Distribution. Own report development for moderately complex reports. Recommend changes, make modifications, prepare and distribute standard and ad hoc reports/dashboards. Help develop presentations and share findings and recommendations. Respond to data-related inquiries by applying knowledge of data and business operations and obtaining information from various sources. Provide operational support to the NAM team and partner with NAM leadership to drive operational excellence for national partners. Support NAM leadership in developing partner-level, model-level, and NAM enterprise strategies, including opportunity identification, tactical planning, development, and results monitoring. May provide partner-facing/external support related to these initiatives. Develop, execute, and manage national strategies to maximize profitability for Liberty Mutual, Safeco, and national partners. Provide regular status reports and updates to leadership. Qualifications
Strong research, problem solving, analytical, critical thinking, influencing, relationship management, and presentation skills. Solid knowledge of business operations, value chain, and market conditions. Ability to support change and impart value within an organization. Solid project management skills for implementing business process changes. Strong knowledge of Excel; familiarity with database software and business intelligence tools preferred. Knowledge of available data sources, strengths, and limitations. Experience with data sources and basic SQL is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years of relevant business analysis experience. About Us and Pay
