Seattle Parks and Recreation Facilities Division is seeking a Senior Management Systems Analyst (Sr. MSA) to join the Facilities, Access, Automation, Security, and Technology (FAST) unit. This is a multi-disciplinary, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, systems-minded professional role that emphasizes cross-functional coordination, data management, and hands-on problem-solving. This is a non-represented position. We are recruiting for one (1) regular, benefited position on the Day Shift. Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project management for technology, facility systems, and infrastructure initiatives. Coordinate and support implementation of security systems such as CCTV, access control, intercoms, and alarm technologies. Design, build, and maintain Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Oversee legacy technology transitions in coordination with Seattle IT and other partners. Develop dashboards, workflows, and documentation using Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Planner). Troubleshoot and manage resolution of technical issues; coordinate with vendors for repair and support. Support infrastructure improvements by leading or coordinating projects with skilled trades or IT teams. Track project scopes, timelines, budgets, procurement, and compliance. Assist MSA Supervisor with site assessments, system analysis, and reporting; provide support to Capital Projects Coordinators and Assistant Capital Projects Coordinators. Clearly document processes and provide timely communication across FAST, Facilities, and other divisions. Performs other related duties of a comparable level and type. Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires three years of experience in systems, operations, procedures, research or analysis and a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, finance, computer science or a related field (or a combination of education, training, or experience that provides an equivalent background required to perform the work of the class). Required Qualifications License, Certification, and Other Requirements Current Washington State driver’s license or evidence of equivalent mobility. Desired Qualifications 3+ years with Power Apps or similar platforms. 2+ years with Power BI and SharePoint Online or similar platforms. Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Power Automate or similar platforms. Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite (Teams and Planner) or similar platforms. Familiarity with JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML, or Python. Database experience (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or Amazon RDS). Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or Visio for mapping and documentation. Strong track record developing dashboards, reports, and automated business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. Ability to work independently, prioritize and schedule tasks, and meet deadlines in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Experience working across IT, security, and facilities domains. Strong written and verbal communication skills with clear documentation. Work Environment/Physical Demands
Most work is in an office environment; occasional work at construction sites is required. Work outdoors in all types of weather; may work at heights on ladders; may work near heavy equipment and near energized equipment; may work in confined spaces. Application Process
