Manager of ICU Critical Care at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center. The Clinical Nursing Manager is a registered nurse who reports directly to the unit Director or Chief Nursing Officer. The Nursing Manager is responsible and accountable for monitoring the delivery of patient care through the nursing process, physicians’ orders, established policies and procedures, established professional standards, and administrative hospital-wide policies. Responsibilities
You will act as a change agent to facilitate unit-specific or hospital-wide changes. You will assure patients’ continuum of care by periodic monitoring of staff assessments, collaborations, reports, and coordination of transfer or discharge planning. You will act as a resource when needed to help the staff provide specific discharge instructions in clear understandable terminology and guide the education process and provides or plans staff development as needed. You will monitor the staff’s compliance with developing, implementing, and modifying the patient’s plan of care according to the patient’s progress. You will assure the staff’s assessment of patients through chart review, direct observation, and other methods of quality management. Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN desired, MSN preferred. Current California Registered Nurse License. Current BCLS and ACLS certification. Nursing leadership/management experience Strong working background in ICU Benefits
