Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our Dixie cutlery facility in Leominster, MA. As a key leader, you will drive the team toward success while maintaining a safe and incident-free environment in a fast-paced plant. Our non-union facility has approximately 200 full-time employees and offers a collaborative and inclusive work environment. What You Will Do

Safety and Environment: Create and foster an environment where the team achieves zero incidents in Environmental, Health, and Safety. Lead a safety culture that values risk identification and personal ownership through a principled-based approach. Leadership and Training: Provide strategic and tactical leadership in safety, asset reliability, cost optimization, quality capability, and productivity. Assist maintenance management in identifying skill gaps and facilitating upskilling of maintenance employees. Enable training for precision maintenance practices through identified opportunities. Reliability and Maintenance: Manage reliability activities to improve equipment availability based on industry best practices for rotating equipment, electrical and instrumentation systems, and injection molding machines. Lead efforts to identify, investigate, recommend, and implement equipment improvements, new systems, and process changes that improve productivity, yield, quality, and/or reduce costs. Collaboration: Work with production, maintenance, and service teams to understand failure modes and develop mitigation strategies; prioritize and develop action plans for reliability-centered maintenance. Collaborate with other leaders to improve plant competitiveness in operating costs, volume, and yield using Agile and Lean processes. Project Coordination: Ensure systems and resources are in place for inspection, restoration, quality assurance, and testing of systems. Coordinate execution of small projects and projects related to equipment reliability improvements. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering Experience in reliability or mechanical integrity in a manufacturing/industrial environment Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and quick to learn PC-based production and maintenance systems Skilled in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) Able to interpret mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings Experience leading Maintenance Reliability, Predictive, and Preventative Maintenance improvement efforts Familiar with CMMS systems What Will Put You Ahead

Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility Experience with capital project management and continuous improvement methodologies SAP experience Vibration training/qualifications Vibration and lubrication training/certifications (e.g., MLT1, MLT2) Six Sigma experience or certification Experience managing mechanical integrity inspection programs Knowledge of injection molding manufacturing processes Our Benefits and Equal Opportunities
