Overview
Our client, a financial services firm, is seeking a Project Manager Consultant. This is a hybrid role (4 days in-office, 1 work from home) located in Nashville, TN. Approximately 1 year duration. Hours are 8am-5pm. This role will work with the VP of Private Wealth Operations in Global Technology & Operations. You will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects affiliated with Private Wealth Client Reporting and new product offerings. The Project Manager will oversee cross-functional teams, manage timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensure successful project outcomes. Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics in alignment with business objectives. Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, team members, and leadership to ensure alignment. Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies and escalate as needed. Track project performance, monitor progress, and deliver regular status updates to stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices. Foster a collaborative and high-performing project team environment. Qualifications
PMP or other project management certification strongly preferred. 5+ years of professional project management experience. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, Asana, Trello). Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
