We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

HVAC Service and Install Manager

to oversee the combined operations of our service, repair, and installation divisions. This role requires strong technical expertise, proven leadership, and solid business acumen to ensure operational efficiency, quality workmanship, and high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and developing our service and installation teams, managing day-to-day operations, coordinating field staff, monitoring department profitability, and maintaining Northern Air’s reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance and support to HVAC service and installation technicians. Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new technicians and installers to build a high-performing team. Conduct regular meetings, ride-alongs, and training sessions to maintain strong service standards and technical skill levels. Oversee employee scheduling, work priorities, and performance to maximize productivity and efficiency. Supervise all service and installation operations from scheduling and dispatching to project completion. Ensure all company procedures and safety protocols are followed and compliant with local, state, and federal codes. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets company and manufacturer standards. Review and approve job reports, invoices, and timesheets for accuracy. Maintain inventory levels of parts, tools, and equipment. Monitor departmental budgets and KPIs such as revenue, gross margin, customer satisfaction, and productivity. Work with leadership to set pricing and ensure financial targets are met. Drive profitability by optimizing operational efficiency and resource management. Handle escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure an exceptional customer experience through timely communication and quality workmanship. Collaborate with CSRs to promote maintenance agreements and service contracts. Represent the company professionally in all interactions with customers, vendors, and partners. Requirements

Minimum of

3–5 years of experience

in HVAC service and installation, including at least

2 years in a supervisory or management role . Strong technical background in HVAC systems, components, and best practices. EPA Certification

required;

NATE Certification

preferred. High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree a plus). Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions quickly. Proficiency with software such as

Microsoft Office

and

Service Titan

(or similar dispatch/project management systems). Ability to motivate teams with positivity and enthusiasm. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Commitment to a
