The Geotechnical Engineer will work with multi-discipline teams to develop design materials, perform analysis and design calculations, manage geotechnical field investigations, and oversee construction activities. The Opportunity

Work with multi-discipline teams to develop design materials for heavy civil projects (generation, power infrastructure, solar, wind, dams, buried infrastructure, tunnels, etc.) Perform analysis, design calculations, design sketches, and geotechnical design reports to meet project requirements Perform, coordinate, and manage geotechnical field investigations Coordinate, manage, observe, and document geotechnical construction activities such as grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, retaining walls The Team

Coordinate internal teams and resources while understanding client interests and needs Develop structural technical specifications, plans, and details for projects such as power generation facilities, substations, transmission lines, solar sites, dams, canals, flood control, municipal water, wastewater, and pipelines Plan, design, and oversee geotechnical aspects for projects in the office and field Travel for field assignments as required (field time estimated at 20–40%) Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years geotechnical/heavy civil project experience Experience with geotechnical investigations, grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, retaining walls Masters Degree in Civil Engineering with Emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering (preferred) Active Engineering-In-Training (EIT) preferred Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited program Minimum of 5 years related work experience Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding (background check, drug screen, MVR) as required Certifications

Active Engineering-In-Training (EIT) license; actively pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) license Work Environment / Physical Demands

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after 90 days Office and construction environments with typical hazards Physical requirements: sitting, walking, standing, lifting up to 40 pounds Salary/Benefits
