Controls/Automation Engineer (PLC - Manufacturing)
Base pay range $53.00/hr - $57.00/hr
Responsibilities
Provide 2nd level technical expertise in PLC controls-based troubleshooting and continuous improvement in support of new production line installation.
Follow direction from a Sr Controls Engineer. Enhance manufacturing capabilities through the implementation of new ideas and methods.
Independently execute project objectives to fulfill overall project goals and milestones.
Qualifications
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and safety systems and structured programming.
Knowledge of controls systems design, programming, and systems integration.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Strong written & oral communications skills.
Actively participate in all phases of projects including design, fabrication, off-line integration and testing, installation, production start-up support, training of plant personnel and technology transfer.
Individual must be capable of executing project assignments, in a team-based environment, with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience
Desired AAS or Higher. 3 additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of formal education (for a total of 10).
7+ years working with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and safety systems and structured programming, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
