Boeing, Industrial Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate) – Application via WayUp Company: The Boeing Company. The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an Industrial Engineer located in Berkeley, MO. This role is 100% onsite at the listed location. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance may be required post-start, and U.S. Citizenship is required for program access per government requirements. Responsibilities

Apply industrial engineering concepts to optimize products, processes and services to meet program requirements. Develop plant layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, sequencing of operations and work flows. Evaluate new techniques and technological developments for integration into production and service operations. Design, maintain and optimize the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment and personnel. Conduct work flow design and analysis. Develop models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide summary analyses and metrics for leaders and customers. Research, design, develop, improve and implement processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost and improve quality for large-scale systems integration. Develop and implement plans for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods. Create product assembly instructions and standardize assembly practices. Prepare operations plans including work statement analysis, budgeting and forecasts, capacity and constraint analysis, and production change management to meet technical goals. Support execution planning using project management, planning and scheduling and shop load practices. Provide production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility and recovery planning support. Ensure compliance with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. Preferred Qualifications (Desired):

Level 2: 2+ years of related work experience with a Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of technical education and experience; experience in Lean Manufacturing; experience partnering with key functions in an integrator/lead role; strong continuous improvement mindset. Education & Experience Levels

Level 1: Typically an advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor) in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or equivalent. Level 2: Typically a Bachelor and 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent. Other Details

Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Drug Free Workplace: Boeing conducts drug testing as part of its policies. Shift: This position is for 1st shift. Salary range: Level 1: $60,350 – $81,650; Level 2: $72,250 – $97,750 (summary pay ranges; actual salary may vary). Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; interim and/or final Secret Clearance may be required post-start; U.S. Citizenship is required for program access. Visa Sponsorship: Boeing will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Export Control: U.S. Persons as defined by 22 C.F.R. are required for export control compliance.
