The Boeing Company Responsibilities

Applies advanced industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirements. Reviews the development of complex plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, sequencing of operations and work flows. Identifies new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations. Designs, maintains, and optimizes the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel. Reviews work flow design and analysis. Leads the development of models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leaders and customers. Leads research, design, development, improvement, and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality for large scale systems integration and asset utilization. Reviews plans and programs for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods. Evaluates product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices. Leads operations planning, including work statement analysis, budgeting and forecasts, capacity and constraint analysis and production change, to ensure technical goals and objectives are met. Leads execution planning by using project management, planning and scheduling and shop load practices. Monitors production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility and recovery planning support. Ensures compliance with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines. Basic Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 9+ years of related work experience Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience using Aurora or similar shop floor work scheduling tool Advanced Microsoft Office experience, including advanced Excel skills Program Details

Security clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required. Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start may be required. Relocation available based on candidate eligibility. Shift: 1st shift Drug-Free Workplace: Boeing conducts post-offer drug testing as part of its safety program.
