As a Commercial Structuring Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping ENGIE’s portfolio of offtake agreements across renewable, battery, thermal, and hybrid energy projects. Your work will directly impact the company’s ability to optimize risk/reward profiles and drive revenue through well-structured commercial offerings. What You Will Do
Support the profitability and risk review for all commercial offers from the nonbinding/term sheet stage through contract execution Provide structuring support for the Power Marketing and Origination teams to bid on project offtake agreements Collaborate with the commercial teams throughout the negotiation and approval processes Review offtake agreements to identify key risk allocations and recommend structuring mitigants or enhancements Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather data and summarize information on operating assets, and evaluate re-contracting and/or restructuring opportunities Analyze data sets to quantify the risk exposure and revenue requirements for non-standard offtake structures What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related technical or analytics-based program Minimum five (5) years of experience in the energy industry, ideally with a developer, strategic, utility, bank, investor, or similar market participant Familiarity with fundamental concepts in the energy industry, including experience with wholesale energy market structures, offtake agreements, investments, and financial analysis Proven analytical skills, including experience working with valuation methods (discounted cash flows, capital asset pricing model) and tools (EXCEL and Python) Commercial acumen with the ability to identify, understand, and interpret customers' underlying drivers Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize the risks and opportunities of complex structures into clear insights for leadership presentations Demonstrated ability to independently and simultaneously manage and advance multiple workstreams and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Additional Details
This role is eligible for our hybrid in-office work policy Must be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies Compensation
Salary Range:
$86,100 – $132,020 USD annually This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
