About the Role:
The Regional Sales Manager role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced capital equipment sales professional to lead commercial growth in the Southeast region. Reporting remotely, this individual will focus on identifying new business opportunities, expanding market share, and cultivating long-term customer partnerships. Collaboration with internal engineering, project management, and technical support teams will be key to delivering customized, high-value solutions that improve customers’ production performance. The role will require frequent regional travel and occasional international visits to support installations, demonstrations, and trade events.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve growth and revenue goals.
Identify, qualify, and close business opportunities across existing and new customer segments in food manufacturing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor system configurations that meet customer specifications.
Conduct technical presentations and system walk-throughs to communicate the value of integrated solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through consultative selling and ongoing support.
Stay informed on competitor activity, product trends, and new technologies to position the company strategically in the marketplace.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred.
Proven track record in capital equipment or industrial automation sales, ideally within food processing or packaging.
Strong mechanical or technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex solutions effectively.
Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, including occasional weekends and international assignments.
