Pay: $85,000-$130,000 base (great bonus opportunities) Project Types
Industrial, industrial maintenance, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, data centers, and commercial projects. Project Manager Responsibilities
Account Management — Lead the efforts to maintain long-term owner direct relationships with new and assigned key accounts Estimating — Lead/assist with preconstruction activities required to backlog future work Purchasing — Issue purchase orders for equipment, materials and subcontractors in a timely manner that does not jeopardize the project schedule Scheduling — Develop a plan for what is to be done, what resources are required and when; coordinate with field superintendents, the client, general contractors, and subcontractors to meet timetables; ensure subcontractors are scheduled to complete activities as required by the scope Manpower management — Work with trade superintendents to ensure adequate workers and expertise for each project; keep manpower projection sheet updated Quality management — Ensure labor and materials meet client specifications; conduct site visits, review drawings and specifications, and maintain client communications Managing margins — Complete monthly billings, monthly job cost reports, and monthly manpower requirements to maintain profit margins Project closeout — Prepare final as-built drawings, develop operation and maintenance manuals, establish warranty dates, complete punch lists, and collect final billings Job Qualifications
Ability to coordinate effectively between electrical and other trades 3 years electrical project management or general project management experience preferred, or 8 years electrical field experience Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications Strong written and oral communication skills Strong work ethic Desire to teach assistant project managers and field employees Ability to multi-task responsibilities Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project Management platforms such as Procore, and ability to learn new software A journeyman or contractor’s license is preferred but not required Pass background check and drug screen Work Location
