Overview Position : X-Ray & Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

RAYUS Radiology is looking for an X-Ray & CT Technologist to join our team. The role involves operating assigned scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images, providing patient-centered service, and guiding patients through the imaging process with clear communication.
Responsibilities
Screen patients before exams for precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure.
Explain and prepare patients for scanning procedures, including positioning for proper image capture.
Perform routine and advanced scanning procedures on designated body regions for physician use, with minimal supervision and by providing patient support during the procedure.
Adjust scanning parameters as needed and apply dose reduction techniques where appropriate.
Follow physicians' orders precisely; maintain safety standards and accurately record patient data within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
Keep an orderly and clean work area and promote safety for patients and staff.
Scanning Department Support: assist with maintaining and updating imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades.
Monitor medical supply inventory and assist with ordering supplies as necessary.
Assist with training of new associates, providing technical guidance as applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
