Security Officers monitor premises, deter crime, enforce site regulations, and may provide customer service to client employees and visitors, maintaining a safe and secure environment. Location: Waltham, MA Schedule: 11P.M.–7 A.M., Sunday–Thursday Responsibilities
Surveillance: Monitor security cameras and patrol assigned premises to detect suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or safety hazards. Access Control: Enforce access control policies, check identification, issue visitor passes, and restrict access to authorized personnel only. Emergency Response: Respond to alarms and incidents promptly, including medical emergencies, fire hazards, or criminal activity; report or escalate to law enforcement as needed. Incident Reporting: Document and report incidents, suspicious activity, security breaches, or safety concerns clearly and accurately for action or investigation. Patrolling: Conduct foot or vehicle patrols of entrances, parking lots, and perimeters; verify doors, windows, and gates are secure. Customer Service: Greet and assist visitors or employees, provide directions, and answer inquiries while maintaining professionalism. Safety Inspections: Identify safety hazards and conditions that could impact people or property. Conflict Resolution: Handle minor disputes to maintain a calm and safe environment. Collaboration: Coordinate security efforts with other staff, law enforcement, or emergency responders as needed. Qualifications
Excellent observational and de-escalation skills; able to remain calm under pressure. Strong communication skills; able to work with global and local security teams. Commitment to ethical practices and following safety protocols; maintain a safe and respectful approach. Intermediate computer skills. Requirements
At least 18 years of age. Reliable means of communication and transportation. Legal right to work in the United States. Ability to effectively speak, read, and write English. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Benefits
