Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor, Doctoral Capstone Coordinator, OTD role at University of New England (UNE) in Portland, ME. Develop and implement the doctoral capstone curriculum as part of a new entry-level OTD track in the OT department, in collaboration with the Program Director and faculty. Develop and edit doctoral capstone procedures and manuals; design the program evaluation component for the capstone experience. Develop, recruit, and sustain community partnerships with doctoral capstone sites. Advise and mentor doctoral capstone students through the capstone process. Demonstrate understanding of Institutional Review Board requirements at university, clinical, and community levels. Teach graduate-level courses as assigned; develop or modify syllabi, assignments, and evaluation methods for courses. Serve on departmental, college, university, and professional committees; support missions and participate in strategic planning. Participate in the accreditation self-study process (specifically the D standards) and in annual assessment and reporting cycles as specified by the university and ACOTE. Engage in community-based services and stay current in certification and Maine licensure. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Initially registered as an occupational therapist and eligible for licensure in Maine. Minimum of a post-professional doctoral degree from a USDE-accredited regionally accredited institution. At least 3 years of documented OT experience, including clinical practice, post-secondary teaching, and scholarship (e.g., scholarship of application or teaching and learning). Effective oral and written communication, problem-solving, computer, and organizational skills with multiple stakeholders. Benefits
