We are working with a client in the Blue Lagoon area that is looking for a Senior AP Analyst to join their team. This role is onsite. The client is looking to hire someone ASAP.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

This role is responsible for managing all aspects of Accounts Payable and supporting monthly financial reporting and its subsidiaries. Key responsibilities include processing invoices, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close. The position also supports employee expense reimbursement, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements and reports.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice coding, approvals, check and ACH runs, and vendor account reconciliations.

Oversee monthly and annual A/P subledger closings, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare journal entries and financial reports.

Review employee travel and expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies and coordinate reimbursements in conjunction with payroll.

Reconcile and manage American Express credit card activity, imports, and related journal entries.

Prepare and analyze general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and lead schedules for non-personnel expenses and other transactions.

Support monthly financial reporting, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow schedules; assist with variance analysis and accruals.

Assist in preparing materials for quarterly Board of Directors meetings and maintain financial reporting repositories.

Handle daily mail retrieval, process check deposits via remote deposit, and maintain related logs.

Prepare and file 1099s, manage new vendor and ACH setups, and respond to vendor and employee inquiries regarding payments.

Collaborate on special projects related to Accounts Payable and Financial Reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA candidate preferred.

Experience in accounts payable and general accounting processes.

Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
