Overview The Procurement Sr. Manager Global Resin plays a pivotal role in the development and execution of sourcing strategies for Resin direct buy across PepsiCo’s global food and beverage business. Scope includes PET, Polyolefin and other resin types across virgin and recycled material. The role uses negotiation skills and strategic thinking to unlock value for the business. The Sr. Manager and team are accountable for managing spend and delivering against productivity targets. The role will be a subject matter expert on the global competitive resin landscape, build long-term strategy, and require innovative thinking to unlock opportunities across resin supply chains. The role will partner with PepsiCo’s extended Procurement team, Sustainability Office, and Supply Chain leaders to develop sourcing strategies and co-lead resin supply transformation. The Sr. Manager will collaborate globally with peers and cross-functional leaders, develop business cases, and influence new category strategies. Executive-level communication and stakeholder engagement are essential. The role requires understanding resin sourcing globally and influencing key decision-makers across sectors and international business units. The Sr. Manager will manage a team of one direct report and reports into the Procurement Director for Global Resin.

Responsibilities

Category Strategy - Partner with global resin category team and sector procurement leads to develop and deploy world-class sourcing strategies to improve productivity and sustainability across PepsiCo’s global units.

Contracting - Lead RFPs, negotiations, and contracting, in partnership with sector Procurement.

Supply Assurance - Lead plans to ensure robust supply and service for end-to-end resin supply.

Supplier Relationships - Develop, implement, and maintain strategic supplier relationships that deliver cost reduction, supply capacity, quality improvement, sustainability, and innovation. Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement plans.

Productivity - Develop multi-year and pipeline productivity strategies driven by transformational opportunities to reduce costs, leverage global insights and scale, and optimize negotiations.

AOP (Annual Operating Plan) - Partner with sector leads to deliver and exceed AOP by sector and globally.

Industry Insights - Act as subject matter expert in PET & Polyolefin, using insights from engagements with peers and suppliers, and knowledge of markets and industry groups to drive ideas.

Risk Management - Develop and deploy hedging capabilities to manage risk across resin supply and financials.

New Opportunities - Identify innovative sourcing opportunities and collaborate with Supply Chain to develop optimization plans.

Leadership - Inspire, motivate, and influence global peers and leaders to embrace consolidated strategies and new value-added processes.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range: $118,700.00/yr - $198,800.00/yr.

Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. The recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process.

Bonus based on performance; eligible target payout is 15% of annual salary.

Paid time off includes parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement (subject to eligibility).

Qualifications

BS in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or related applied sciences. MBA or MS in Chemical Engineering preferred with extensive Procurement experience.

6-8+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Operations, or Finance.

Knowledge of the resin landscape is necessary.

Strong leadership with the ability to influence across the organization.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to align senior management.

Analytical, financial, program management, negotiation, influencing, and collaboration skills.

Commercially savvy with ability to develop and execute complex global initiatives.

Ability to work within a complex matrix organization.

Proven ability to develop and influence recommendations and drive decisions quickly, even without direct authority.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Travel approximately 10-15%.
