What You Will Do
Source and select high-quality lumber, building materials, and related products.
Negotiate pricing and delivery terms to keep us competitive.
Keep a close eye on inventory, sales trends, and market shifts so our shelves (and yard) are always prepared.
Partner with our sales, yard, and operations teams to make sure everyone has the products and information they need.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and vendor data using our purchasing systems.
Support our commitment to offering premium building products—because quality matters as much as price.
Pitch in on Saturday coverage in the Hardware Store, with inventory as your focus.
What We Offer
$68,000 - $72,000 annual starting salary.
PLUS performance bonus based on individual contributions and overall store success.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 7am - 4pm and every third Saturday 8am-12 noon.
What We Are Looking For
3 years’ experience or training in purchasing, supply-chain management, inventory management or a directly related field required; lumber and building materials background preferred.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
A knack for balancing cost control with top-notch quality.
Solid organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with computers and software able to utilize purchasing and inventory management software (e.g., Epicor/Bistrack) effectively.
Leader and role model for employees—on time, dedicated, supportive, and actively engaged in strengthening our culture.
A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset—someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and make things better every day.
