This position requires overnight travel up to 50% of the time.

About The Role Develop and execute training programs for Boston Scientific’s transseptal access technologies to support product education and skills training for Health Care Professionals (HCPs). Identify and engage HCPs through collaborative partnerships to enhance educational initiatives, advance the appropriate application of therapies, and advise BSC on strategic matters.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Program development, oversight, and execution – define agenda, content, physician faculty, and training models to assess progress toward program objectives for Boston Scientific’s Access Solutions (Transseptal Access) portfolio. Develop approach, scope, and methodology of training to maximize impact by determining target audience, time, location requirements, and other applicable factors.

Develop relationships with HCPs and field personnel through scheduled meetings and other interactions.

Conduct post-program evaluations of content and faculty; monitor changes that may impact training requirements; implement improvements to training protocols and materials accordingly.

Identify key opinion leaders (KOLs), expert speakers, and academicians who can deliver the curriculum and provide clinical insight with real-world applications.

Engage HCPs and KOLs to demonstrate clinical outcomes and benefits of company products, exchange clinical, safety and comparative-effectiveness information, and discuss areas of need and corporate initiatives.

Develop training and education tools to meet learning objectives and support procedural skill transference (e.g., simulations, models, visualizations, gaming).

Assist with shaping and evolving the physician training curriculum by assessing HCP requirements and training needs, aligning objectives, and obtaining educational content through cross-functional collaboration.

Execute activities of major significance and represent the unit as a primary contact on operations or contracts.

Coordinate with Sales Training to support the team’s ability to meet employee training requirements as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in medical device industry or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in a clinical and/or pre-clinical environment (cath lab, EP lab, or OR) within a clinical case support or education-focused, customer-facing role; experience developing and maintaining relationships with physician customers, field representatives and hospital staff.

Travel up to 50% of each month.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing, coordinating, and executing peer-to-peer physician training and education.

Experience and familiarity with electrophysiology and/or interventional cardiology procedures.

Experience with development of educational content (proficiency with Articulate or digital/e-learning content is a plus) and creating/delivering systematic training.

Program/project management and strong organizational skills.

Strategic thinker with appetite for innovation and continuous learning.

Compensation and Policies

Minimum Salary: $82,600

Maximum Salary: $156,900

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, and may include variable compensation in accordance with policy for non-exempt or exempt roles.
