MRG Exams
Overview
Join the Audiologist - Bangor ME role at MRG Exams. This in-person position supports VA disability benefits assessments for U.S. Veterans. The Audiologist reviews Veteran medical records in a computer portal, conducts Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric testing, and completes a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) to form medical evidence for VA decisions. Audiologists do not prescribe medical treatments or devices. Typical caseload: 3–6 Veterans per day. Schedule: Part-Time, 2–3 days/week. In-person with 1 to 1.5 hours per patient. No evenings, no on-call, no weekends, no hearing aid sales.
Responsibilities
Review medical records uploaded by Veterans for the VA disability benefits process.
Conduct Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric testing.
Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal.
Provide objective medical evidence to support VA decision-making.
Maintain in-person assessment standards and documentation accuracy.
Qualifications
Au.D degree from an ASHA-Accredited program.
Current license as an Audiologist.
Meets VA credentialing requirements.
