Job Description Acrisure is seeking a Placement Specialist to join our growing team. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing and executing key components of the new business and renewal processes for insurance accounts, including overseeing timelines, conducting exposure analysis, preparing quote specifications, negotiating coverage terms, and presenting comprehensive proposals to clients. The role requires close collaboration with Client Advisors, Account Service Teams, and carrier partners to ensure high-quality service delivery and seamless communication.
Responsibilities
Timeline & Process Management : Maintain timelines and processes during the new business and renewal processes, including exposure analysis, quote specifications, analysis and negotiation of coverage offers, and preparation and presentation of coverage proposals.
Communication : Communicate effectively within the team (Client Advisors and Account Service Team) and with markets.
Policy Review & Recommendations : Review insurance policies and contracts and make recommendations for improvement.
Submission Preparation : Prepare property and casualty insurance submissions for new business prospects and renewing accounts, including insurance specifications for each line of coverage, ACORD applications, loss summaries, prospect profile, exposure schedules, etc.
Data Analysis : Analyze prospect client exposure and loss data in Excel, and develop financial models of loss-sensitive programs when necessary.
Market Relationships : Maintain familiarity with and relationships to various insurance companies and wholesalers.
Confidentiality : Handle confidential and non-routine information.
Carrier Systems & Tools : Rate policies in carrier systems to assist in quoting and proposal development.
Licensing Compliance : Maintain licensing requirements, including continuing education.
Professional Development : Attend seminars, meetings, carrier events and trainings to improve product knowledge.
Coverage Analysis & Strategy : Perform coverage gap analysis and deliver strategic recommendations tailored to each client's risk profile.
Project Work : Work independently and with teams on ongoing and special projects.
Risk Resource Engagement : Engage Risk Resources for specialized expertise when needed.
Requirements
Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Able to work with minimum supervision and accept directions.
Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
Attention to detail for document accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a team with strong customer service skills.
Experience with a broker / agent, marketing large middle-market accounts to carriers; strong knowledge of markets.
Knowledge of basic insurance coverages.
Proficient in creating proposal documents as required.
Education & Experience
Required: 3-5 years of relevant insurance experience with emphasis on middle to large market placements; currently hold an applicable insurance license.
Preferred: College degree; pursuit of professional designations (CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU) is a plus.

Pay Details The base compensation range for this position is $38,596 - $75,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of posting. Placement within the range will be based on skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
