As a member on the Dataplane team, you will design and develop major core components of Oracle’s Virtual Cloud Network. You will be responsible for delivering high-speed packet processing architectures and other distributed systems that provide networking features such as TCP/UDP packet processing, access controls, metrics, and monitoring dashboards. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Work within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) context to build and maintain SDN stack and related networking services. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years distributed cloud engineering experience in a software development environment Experience designing service-oriented architectures and security solutions for web services Proficient with data structures, algorithms, operating systems Experience with distributed systems: CAP theorem, Consensus, messaging, High Availability Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly Experience with Linux networking constructs and software-based packet forwarding Proficient in C++ and Python; proficient with Linux and shell scripting Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering or related field Preferred Qualifications:
Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development in a cloud environment; familiarity with distributed computing and cloud platforms Benefits
