Pay Rate: $69.50 - $90.31 per hour
Job Summary The HR Employee Relations Professional plays a critical role in maintaining a fair, respectful, and values-driven workplace. You will uphold the organization’s Vision, Values, and Commitments (VV&Cs) while conducting thorough investigations, resolving escalated employee issues, and providing expert guidance to leaders and staff. This role supports employee relations activities across assigned regions and may collaborate cross-regionally on complex matters. This position follows a hybrid telework schedule, requiring at least three in-person days per week at the assigned office or project site.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complex employment-related investigations from start to finish, including intake, research, interviews, documentation, corrective action, and debriefs.
Investigate allegations involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, bullying, or violations of company policy.
Provide coaching and employee relations guidance to managers on workplace issues, performance management, and policy interpretation.
Partner with cross-functional teams such as Legal, HR, Ethics & Compliance, Security, and Industrial/Labor Relations.
Facilitate ER training programs for managers and supervisors.
Utilize ER data to identify trends and recommend strategies to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.
Support workforce reduction processes and ensure alignment with corporate policy and local laws.
Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment throughout all investigations.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience; or 12-14 years of equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations that meet legal and compliance standards.
Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and employee relations best practices.
Proven ability to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Experience using electronic case management systems.
Ability to navigate cultural differences and maintain professionalism across regions.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Formal training or certification in workplace investigations.
Experience in multinational or project-based organizations.
Proficiency in analyzing ER data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
Background in coaching leaders through sensitive or complex employee matters.
