Overview

CTI, a Parsons Company, is a high-tech software, systems engineering, and operational support corporation serving military and security applications. We provide operationally-focused technology solutions for DoD programs. We are seeking a Modeling and Simulation Analyst to support United States Special Operations Command programs and other advanced defense initiatives. This role involves designing, developing, and executing modeling and simulation (M&S) activities to deliver insights into DoD capabilities, systems, and operational concepts. The successful candidate will build analytical frameworks, conduct experiments, and apply model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approaches to deliver mission-ready solutions for the warfighter. Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams of analysts and engineers in the research, development, modeling, experimentation, and analysis of DoD systems and capabilities. Develop, validate, and employ analytical methods and simulations to facilitate system and mission-level analysis. Apply MBSE processes and tools to support the design, integration, and evaluation of complex systems. Utilize and extend DoD modeling and simulation environments; experience with Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) is highly desired. Produce clear documentation, technical reports, and briefings to communicate results and recommendations to internal teams and government customers. Interface with customers by participating in weekly test status and planning meetings, as well as technical interchange meetings with U.S. government stakeholders. Adapt to shifting priorities, multitask across projects, and maintain focus on mission-critical outcomes. Support occasional non-standard work hours and schedules as required by project timelines or operational events. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Modeling & Simulation, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field. 10+ years of direct experience collaborating with analyst teams in DoD modeling, simulation, experimentation, and analysis. 6+ years of experience developing analytical methods and simulations to support system and mission-level assessments. Strong understanding of DoD capabilities, systems engineering processes, and M&S tools and environments. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Must have an active U.S. government Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain SCI eligibility. Beneficial Skills and Experience

Master’s degree in a relevant technical field. Experience with Next Generation Threat System (NGTS). Demonstrated experience applying MBSE practices in a DoD or defense contractor environment. Prior experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) programs or other high-priority DoD initiatives. Location and Travel

Location: This position is expected to be fully onsite at SOCOM, HQ located in South Tampa. Travel requirements: Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%. Benefits
