Patent Agent – Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid) An Am Law 60 firm is seeking a Patent Agent with a degree in engineering or computer science and at least two years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution. This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of attorneys on innovative technologies spanning medical devices, consumer products, software, electronics, and more. Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr What You’ll Do
Draft and prosecute patent applications across a variety of industries Conduct due diligence, patentability, and FTO analyses Partner closely with attorneys and inventors to develop IP strategy Contribute to managing both domestic and global patent portfolios What We’re Looking For
2+ years
of patent preparation and prosecution experience Undergraduate degree
in
engineering
or
computer science
(mechanical, electrical, biomedical, or related fields preferred) USPTO registration
required Strong academic credentials and polished writing and analytical skills Prior
law firm experience
