Business Development Oversees client engagements, including tax planning, scheduling, and managing IRS/state audits, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries and managing tax engagements with proactive communication. Develops and maintains strong client relationships, gaining a deep understanding of their businesses to identify opportunities for additional services. Represents the firm at industry and regional events to strengthen client relationships and support business development. Technical & Accounting Knowledge Leads tax compliance engagements, ensuring adherence to professional standards, deadlines, and budget expectations. Conducts research and provides guidance on complex tax matters, communicating findings to clients and internal teams. Stays current with evolving tax laws and industry regulations, applying this knowledge to client engagements. Engagement & Leadership Provides training, mentorship, and supervision to staff, fostering professional growth through career coaching and technical expertise. Attains industry-specific knowledge through continuous professional education. Participates in community and firm-sponsored initiatives to enhance visibility and strengthen professional networks. Qualifications and Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred. Active CPA licensure required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and QuickBooks. Requires at least seven (7) years of public accounting experience. Previous supervisory experience required. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
