Tax Manager (High Net Worth) – Public Accounting
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Hybrid Flexibility - 3 days in office and 2 days at home (you can pick your days in office)

We are currently searching for an experienced
Tax Manager
who brings a strong background in tax compliance, planning, and client advisory work. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the tax team to strengthen client relationships and provide guidance across a wide range of tax areas—including individual, partnership, corporate, trust, and estate matters. You’ll also stay informed on evolving tax regulations to ensure clients receive accurate, forward‑thinking advice.
What You’ll Do
Manage a portfolio of client engagements while ensuring all work meets internal quality standards
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, offering clear explanations of technical tax issues and timely responses
Advise on tax strategies for individuals, businesses, and high-net-worth clients
Review work prepared by staff and seniors, offering mentorship and constructive feedback
Identify potential issues proactively and present recommended solutions to leadership
Participate in networking and relationship‑building within your professional community
Take part in performance reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain an understanding of firm economics, including billing responsibilities
Stay current on tax trends, regulatory updates, and industry best practices
Support leadership with policy implementation and team communication
Assist with additional projects as needed
Qualifications
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong research abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Demonstrated success overseeing multiple client engagements simultaneously
Experience providing tax planning and compliance for individuals and businesses
Background in multi‑state and consolidated returns
Prior experience training or supervising junior team members preferred
Industry experience in construction, real estate, technology, manufacturing, distribution, or service provider
Active CPA license required
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Taxation strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a closely related role
Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
