Director of Wholesale Operations - Texas First Rentals. This role is responsible for the strategic planning, fleet management, customer relationships, operational execution, and financial performance to achieve targeted utilization, margin, and ROI in the re-rent wholesale business. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development. Essential Functions

Hires, develops, evaluates, and influences effective and consistent productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS) Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission Develops and executes the company’s wholesale re-rental growth strategy Identifies high-demand equipment classes for acquisition to maximize utilization and profitability Establishes pricing strategies and long-term rate agreements with key partners Ensures fleet is maintained to OEM standards with minimal downtime Manages logistics for deliveries, blind shipments, and returns across multiple geographies Serves as primary relationship manager for top accounts Negotiates contracts, rates, and service agreements Leads business development to expand customer base and grow account share Owns profit and loss responsibility for the business unit Monitors KPIs: utilization, revenue per unit, margin, AR aging, and fleet ROI Prepares annual budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plan Fosters a performance-driven culture focused on safety, reliability, and customer service excellence Motivates, coaches and trains personnel Promotes a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication Schedules and ensures timely repairs are completed for rental equipment Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Strong technical aptitude and understanding of specialty rental equipment and rental industry Knowledge of business accounting principles, budget preparation, and strong business acumen Excellent oral and written communication skills Interpersonal skills sufficient to engage with vendors, own staff, and corporate executives to exchange information, influence and persuade First-class presentation skills before both small and large groups Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization and customer operations Ability to understand the implications of new information for current and future problem-solving and decision-making Ability to perform mathematical computations quickly and accurately Ability to interpret extensive technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness Driven and results oriented; business development and KPIs to meet corporate targets Strong knowledge of equipment lifecycle management, rental operations, and logistics Exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills Financial acumen to analyze and drive profitability Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, or Construction Management, or related field required 8 years of leadership experience in equipment rental, heavy equipment, or related industries required. 10+ years preferred. Coaching/mentoring experience with branch personnel Supervisory Responsibilities

This position directs and manages the employees within the assigned business unit. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and development; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Extensive travel, up to 75% to 85% Valid driver’s license Physical Requirements

This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc. This role frequently communicates with others and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines Must be able to move objects and use core muscles to provide support over time without fatigue Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 30 pounds Requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina Ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet Be able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipment Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions Safety training required; PPE required outside of office/parking lot area Work Environment

This job is generally performed in a professional office environment Occasionally works outdoors and may be exposed to weather extremes Noise level may be loud at times Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, steam, high-pressure water, and high-speed rotating equipment On occasion time spent in confined spaces and high places Frequently works at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions Disclaimer
