We’re looking for a high-energy Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative Plumbing design solutions for our heavy industrial clients. Responsibilities
Perform field investigations, interface with clients & vendors, size and select equipment, and prepare construction design packages. Be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to establish and meet the needs of our clients. Contribute to the development of design criteria for Plumbing systems, layout and design of Plumbing systems (sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage), and development of final design documents and specifications. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated designs. Qualifications
Professional Engineering License. At least eight (8) years’ experience in the design of Plumbing systems. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of Plumbing systems. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and to collaborate with other discipline team members remotely. Preferred
Software experience in Revit. Experience in the design of utility piping system design. Benefits
