Base pay range: $102,900.00/yr - $135,075.00/yr. This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the best candidates. In our Advanced Manufacturing Group, we deliver cost-effective and transformative projects to markets including heavy industry and manufacturing. We are looking for a high-energy, Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative Plumbing design solutions for our heavy industrial clients. You will work with engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages. Responsibilities
Development of the design criteria for the Plumbing systems. Layout and design of Plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage. Development of final design documents including specifications associated with these systems. Coordination with other disciplines. Qualifications
Professional Engineering License. At least eight (8) years’ experience in the design of Plumbing systems. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of Plumbing systems. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and to collaborate with other discipline team members remotely. Ideal/Desirable
Software experience in Revit. Experience in the design of utility piping system design. Benefits
