Project Manager - Site/Civil Renewable Energy

at Weston & Sampson Weston & Sampson is seeking a motivated Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager with 6-12 years of experience to perform highly skilled engineering and design work in our Massachusetts, NH, Connecticut or Richmond office to support renewable energy projects throughout the country. This position will support the permitting, design and construction phases of renewable energy development projects. Responsibilities

Manage the site civil, land development, stormwater, utility designs, and specifications to support solar or other renewable energy development projects including construction observation or administration. Prepare and submit permit applications in support of project development, representing our municipal and private clients. Conduct presentations at public hearings to support permit applications for land use projects. Work in a multidisciplinary team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate multiple disciplines, and collaborate with staff in a team environment. Manage project financial performance and prepare proposals for new projects. Qualifications

BS in Civil or Environmental (or equivalent) Engineering is required; MS is preferred. PE certification is preferred. 6 to 12 years of relevant experience. Experience with Hydro CAD and other stormwater modeling software. Strong skills with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organizational/time management skills are required. Some travel will be required to client meetings and project sites. Experience on renewable energy projects is a plus. Possess high ethical standards and a commitment to producing high-quality work with teamwork, respect, and integrity. A valid driver’s license is required. Overview
