Project Manager - Site/Civil Renewable Energy

Weston & Sampson is seeking a motivated and driven Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager with 6-12 years of experience to perform highly skilled engineering and design work in Massachusetts, NH, Connecticut or Richmond offices to support renewable energy projects throughout the country.
Our growing Energy Practice seeks thoughtful and innovative individuals who want to make a difference enhancing, protecting, and sustaining the natural and built environment to improve quality of life. This position will support the permitting, design, and construction phases of renewable energy development projects.
What You’ll Do
Manage site civil, land development, stormwater, utility designs, and specifications to support solar or other renewable energy development projects, including construction observation or administration.
Prepare and submit permit applications in support of the project development, representing our municipal and private clients.
Conduct presentations at public hearings to support permit applications for land use projects.
Work in a multidisciplinary team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate multiple disciplines, and collaborate with multiple staff members in a team environment.
Manage project financial performance and prepare proposals for new projects.
What You Will Bring
BS in Civil or Environmental (or equivalent) Engineering required; MS preferred.
PE certification preferred.
6 to 12 years of relevant experience.
Experience with HydroCAD and other stormwater modeling software.
Strong skills with basic AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Some travel required to client meetings and project sites.
Experience on renewable energy projects is a plus.
High ethical standards and commitment to teamwork, respect, and integrity.
A valid driver’s license required.
