Overview
HSEQ Specialist (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) at Enertis Applus+. The successful candidate will support and enhance Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality management systems, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies and industry standards, and collaborate across departments to drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor HSEQ policies, procedures, and programs.
Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and incident investigations.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO standards, and other applicable regulations.
Deliver HSEQ training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
Support certification and audit processes (internal and external).
Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports on HSEQ performance and initiatives.
Promote a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and quality excellence throughout the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
3–5 years of experience in HSEQ, Safety, or Environmental roles.
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 9001/14001/45001, or other relevant standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
General and specialized HSEQ certifications (e.g., OSHA, ISO Auditor, NEBOSH, CSP, CIH) will be considered an asset.

Ability to work independently and within a team.
