Overview
The Department of Restorative Dentistry at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine is searching for a full-time Program Director at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This position will also have an administrative appointment as the Director of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Prosthodontics. The position will remain open until filled.
Responsibilities
Oversee all clinical and didactic training of prosthodontic postdoctoral residents
Develop and manage prosthodontic postdoctoral curricula
Manage patient care and electronic health records of the prosthodontic postdoctoral clinic
Mentor residents in achieving diplomate status with the American Board of Prosthodontics
Actively participate in resident research
Requirements
DDS/DMD degree or equivalent and a certificate of advanced specialty training in prosthodontics from a CODA accredited program
Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics
Eligibility for a New Jersey State dental license
Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
Experience as a Director of a postgraduate program or teaching experience in such a program
Nationally recognized leader with diversified talents in teaching, patient care, and research (preferred)
