Associate Creative Director Duke Cannon Supply Co. is a growth-oriented CPG company with an entrepreneurial mindset and a fast-growing presence in the men’s grooming category. Our mission is to better the day of hard-working men, through the products we build, the conversations we create, and our veteran-focused give-back program. We are seeking applicants for the role of Associate Creative Director to work within our internal agency, concepting and executing content across multiple media that you might actually want to share with friends. We aim to keep conversations engaging and light while delivering content that attracts and retains a loyal Duke Cannon audience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Concepting and Copywriting:
Generate concepts and write compelling copy across social, CTV, web, print, and packaging. The role is hands-on and involves producing a high volume of work in-house.
Creative Team Stewardship:
Lead and coach an internal team (Copywriter, Designer, Visual Content Specialist) and collaborate with project managers to organize work and maintain a high-quality, best-in-class output. Include occasional freelancers as needed.
Innovation and Inspiration:
Introduce new ideas, formats, and references to keep Duke Cannon’s output fresh and ahead of the curve.
Pitching and Presentation:
Confidently present concepts to internal stakeholders, articulate the rationale behind work, and rally teams around strong creative ideas.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work with marketing, sales, product, and packaging teams to meet deadlines, move the needle, and translate business objectives and marketing insights into creative ideas that drive results.
QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in a creative role as an Associate Creative Director or Senior Copywriter, in-house or at an agency
Experience managing small teams (1-5 employees)
Exceptional copywriting skills
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
Portfolio showing a body of past advertising/content work
Familiarity with current social media trends and leading platforms
Ability to generate ideas for various media formats
Strong communication skills and ability to synthesize data into recommendations
Collaborative mindset and adaptability in a changing environment

SALARY AND BENEFITS Salary range for this position is $100,000 – $130,000, with a competitive bonus structure based on role and experience. Benefits include health and dental insurance, HSA and 401k with company contributions, tuition reimbursement, and a monthly parking stipend. We host monthly team activities and learning sessions in the Main Lodge (office).
