Restaurant Manager – A Guest-Experience and Event Minded Leader
Full-Time | $65,000–$75,000 DOE + Performance Bonuses
A distinguished chef-owned restaurant concept in North Park, San Diego - known for its immersive, outdoors-inspired atmosphere and seasonal, locally-sourced cuisine - is seeking a Restaurant Manager with a passion for building team culture, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and growing within an innovative hospitality brand.

Imagine a vibrant, design-forward space inspired by the spirit of glamping - where wood textures, canvas tents, warm lighting, and natural greenery create a truly transportive atmosphere. The culinary focus is chef-driven, the cocktails are crafted with care, and the guest experience is rooted in warmth, discovery, and connection. It’s a local favorite to dine and host private gatherings - and it’s ready for its next chapter of leadership. Key Responsibilities
Lead daily service with presence, energy, and precision Ensure seamless operations, from scheduling and service flow to vendor and inventory management Maintain and elevate brand standards in every detail - music, lighting, service touchpoints, and more Enabling unique events using a sales-like growth mentality through community outreach and end-to-end execution of private bookings Collaborate on creative initiatives including launching weekend brunch, booking evening entertainment programming, and curating private events Use data and tech (Toast, OpenTable, Google Drive) to drive performance and guest satisfaction Collaborate with ownership on long-term marketing and financial strategy, growing into GM-level responsibilities Partner with the in-house Event Coordinator to support private and group bookings Qualifications
3+ years in a restaurant leadership role with proven track record of team growth and accountability Highly organized, energetic, and solutions-oriented without being easily overwhelmed Demonstrate strong foundational understanding of P&Ls, top line revenue growth, total cost control including labor costs and operational excellence Passionate about crafting memorable guest moments with relentless hospitality Comfortable with tech systems and using data to create inform decisions Weekend and evening availability required Bonus: Experience with cocktail-forward environments, lifestyle dining, or event-driven spaces Competitive salary: ~70,000 annual salary DOE $3K - $6K performance bonuses paid Quarterly for sales and event bookings, service excellence and leadership impact Clear growth path to General Manager or Director of Operations within 12–18 months 401K program with 1% company-contributed employee match Dining discounts and involvement in menu and event development Supportive, hands-on ownership that values innovation and leadership initiative Why This Role Is Unique
