Warranty Administrator Position Summary

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for accurately processing, recording, and reconciling all warranty claims with the manufacturer. This role ensures that all documentation meets factory requirements and that claims are submitted and paid in a timely manner. The Warranty Administrator also supports the service team with warranty-related processes and performs additional clerical duties as needed. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Process all warranty claims promptly and accurately. Review and verify all warranty documentation to ensure compliance with factory OEM guidelines. Reconcile warranty receivables and payments through the appropriate accounting schedules. Work closely with advisors and service manager to ensure proper coding and pricing. Resubmit rejected claims or obtain proper authorization to adjust or write them off. Follow up on outstanding or unpaid claims to ensure timely resolution. Track warranty parts by tagging with the repair order number, replacement date, and disposal date. Coordinate the shipment or disposal of warranty parts according to manufacturer policies. Maintain organized and complete service records as required by the warrantor. Stay current on factory recalls, service bulletins, and warranty policy updates. Maintain a professional appearance and a clean, organized workspace. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Preferred: Ability to perform all essential duties efficiently and accurately. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computers and standard software applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions. Professional and courteous demeanor. Required: All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
