Join our team as a Senior Manager of Facilities and Engineering for a gated retirement community. The Senior Facilities and Engineering Manager is responsible for providing timely, competent, and professional delivery of maintenance, engineering, and grounds services for residents and employees. Develop, implement and monitor a Cost Savings Program in conjunction with the building control system. Ensure plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling systems operate efficiently for varying demand. Provide training for maintenance, engineering, and grounds staff on equipment and systems. Ensure facilities comply with federal, state and local regulations. Develop the annual budget for Maintenance, Engineering and Grounds. Review monthly financial statements and identify variances. Provide well-maintained and landscaped grounds. Utilize resources effectively and consider outsourcing when cost-effective, while maintaining service quality and asset security. What You Will Need
Minimum of 7 years of relevant facilities management experience with leadership in mechanical, electrical, life safety and fire protection systems. Minimum of 5 years of management experience. Healthcare environment experience is a plus, with strengths in Environment of Care. Experience with a CMMS is required. Within 1 year of hire: CPMM, EPA 608 Universal, NFPA 70E, and OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certifications. Valid State driver’s license, maintained as a condition of employment. Current and valid DOT Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate, maintained as a condition of employment. Please note that state regulations may apply and take precedence over the job description.
