What does a successful Software Development Engineering - Advisor II do? At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineering - Advisor II, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
Required Qualifications
University degree or equivalent military experience.
6+ years of experience in software development.
3+ years of experience in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
3+ years of experience with SQL databases.
3+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the financial services industry.
