Overview

IT Infrastructure Site Support Analyst at Parker Hannifin. This role focuses on maintaining and supporting the end users and workstation environment at the Bowling Green facility, including installation, maintenance, and general support of hardware and software, and assisting end users with advanced questions or problems.

Responsibilities

Project management experience is required.

Manage incidents and requests in coordination with the global IT service desk, utilizing ITIL foundational principles.

Interact directly with internal customers to investigate business requirements and use cases and recommend appropriate solutions.

Drive results and proactively identify and resolve problems.

Create and communicate decisions impacting the wider business, effectively managing customer expectations.

Provide monthly management reporting on the status of all projects.

Stay abreast of new digital and IT technologies and research their usage at Parker.

Prepare budgets for IT capital and expense initiatives.

Manage endpoint lifecycle of on-site assets.

Manage maintenance contracts and providers of outsourced services; deploy equipment and oversee periodic equipment refresh.

Develop training materials to support process changes and new technology introductions.

Evaluate unplanned requests and determine priority and action.

Coordinate with company leadership on new technologies and system enhancements.

Follow safety and environmental policies relevant to the work area.

Provide after-hours technical support as needed and be prepared for overnight travel to remote locations to implement technical solutions.

Perform other duties as necessary.

Qualifications Education

Bachelor’s degree

Experience

Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.

At least 2 years of experience in an information technology role or related discipline.

At least 2 years of experience in a support or service role with customer interaction.

At least 2 years of experience with maintenance and repair of computer hardware.

Experience with Microsoft Active Directory applications.

Experience with business software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

IT Service Management ticketing tool such as ServiceNow, preferred.

Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.

Certifications

ITIL Foundation, strongly preferred

Microsoft Certified Professional, preferred

Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, preferred

CompTIA A+, preferred

Skills

Project management skills, standards, methods, and techniques, required

Strong customer service orientation

Proficiency in English language (speaking, reading, writing)

Ability to apply innovative thinking toward problem resolution

Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

Strong written and verbal communication

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Willingness to learn and take initiative

Self-starter with the ability to work independently, collaboratively, and in a team environment

Physical Demands

Ability to work for extended periods of time while sitting or standing

Ability to use hands and fingers for extended periods

Ability to perform repetitive motions for extended periods

Ability to lift and move equipment up to 30 pounds
