Overview
Investigator-Ethics Compliance Employment & Labor Specialist. This role at Georgia Institute of Technology involves proactive planning, conducting, documenting and presenting results of investigations in accordance with applicable professional standards and legal requirements. This position will interact on a consistent basis with Ethics & Compliance management and staff, investigation subjects both internal and external to the Institute, and representatives from external agencies. It will advise and counsel Ethics & Compliance management and staff. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities and does not have financial responsibilities. About Georgia Tech

Responsibilities Review and triage investigative complaints.
Plan, conduct and document interviews with witnesses, respondents, and complainants.
Prepare and give investigative updates through written and/or oral presentations.
Prepare investigative reports, details, findings, and recommendations.
Provide input and support to legal and administrative proceedings, as needed.
Provide investigative support as directed to other external investigative and enforcement agencies.
Investigate complaints of sexual misconduct and sexual harassment involving faculty and staff.
Develop, conduct, and lead training sessions on relevant subject matters.
Work collaboratively within the Office of the General Counsel on coordinated projects with overlapping areas of responsibility.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Required Qualifications
Certified Forensic Examiner (CFE), CCEP, SPHR. Required Experience
Four to six years of job related experience. Preferred Qualifications Juris Doctorate.
Proposed Salary
72,783 - 98,000 Annually. Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
This job requires advanced knowledge of internal auditing standards and procedures along with formal investigation and interview techniques. This includes skills in data collection, preparation, analysis and reporting as well as planning and communications. Use of office and specialized computer applications is required. USG Core Values
