Overview
We are partnering with a growing civil engineering and construction firm seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee complex site development and infrastructure projects from design through completion. This role blends engineering insight with field leadership and is ideal for someone who enjoys technical problem solving, client engagement, and guiding teams to deliver quality work safely and efficiently. Base pay range
$115,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr This range is provided by AppleOne Employment Services. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. What you’ll do
Lead all phases of project delivery from design coordination and permitting through construction and closeout Interpret and review engineering drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports to ensure constructability and compliance Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and work plans while monitoring progress against milestones and financial goals Coordinate with internal design teams, external engineers, clients, subcontractors, and municipal agencies Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost tracking to maintain accuracy and transparency Conduct site visits to ensure design intent, quality standards, and safety procedures are upheld Lead project meetings, provide status reports, and identify risks or issues before they impact delivery Mentor junior engineers and project staff to build technical and leadership capabilities within the team What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (PE license preferred) Five or more years of project management experience in civil, site, or infrastructure projects Strong technical understanding of grading, drainage, utilities, paving, and earthwork Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive collaboration across disciplines Skilled communicator who builds strong relationships with clients and project partners Why this role matters
