Job Description
TEKsystems is looking for a Java Microservices Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our team and lead the development of a robust, scalable, and fault-tolerant Enterprise Service Layer (ESL). This role involves end-to-end development and testing of software products within an agile lifecycle, using open‑source technologies and established architectural principles.
Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Integrate enterprise solutions through middleware, Spring Batch, and Salesforce Lightning APIs.
Employ monitoring, observability, and error‑handling best practices with tools such as New Relic, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, and Rancher.
Maintain interface documentation, versioning, and governance using Jira and Confluence.
Required Skills & Experience
Java, Spring Boot, microservices
Kafka, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, e‑commerce
Enterprise integration platforms, middleware, Spring Batch, Salesforce Lightning API
Public Cloud certification (AWS, Azure) and hands‑on AWS experience
Monitoring & observability tools: New Relic, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Rancher
Error handling, versioning, interface documentation standards
Jira, Confluence, ALM tools; focus on platform hygiene and governance
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
