Job Summary
The
Storage System Administrator II
role concentrates on the management of storage and backup infrastructure in a large enterprise. Ideal candidates must be strong in IBM storage and backup platforms, Global Mirroring, and fiber channel switch knowledge, including use of management software for all related technology. Storage System Administrator II is responsible for performance, capacity, availability, currency, and scalability of the storage and backup infrastructure. They are also responsible for automation, alerting, and enabling pro-active monitoring of the environment, L3 troubleshooting for complex problems, implementation of changes.
Minimum Qualifications Degrees / Work Experience / School Education
Bachelor\'s Degree equivalent work experience (And) Six (6) Years Work Experience of related IT experience.
Or
High School Diploma GED (And) Ten (10) Years Work Experience related IT experience
Licenses & Certifications Certificate One Or More Of The Following Required
IBM Certified Administrator - Tivoli Storage Manager
IBM Certified deployment Professional - Spectrum Protect Plus
Rubrik Certified System Administrator
IBM Certified Specialist - Midrange Storage Technical Support v2/v3
NetApp Certified Professional (NCDA or NCIE)
Preferred : Certified Specialist StorewizeV7000 Technical Solutions, IBM Certified Specialist - Storewize V7000 Implementation
Work Experience
