Job Description
At Regions, the Product Manager assists in the development, execution, and tracking of marketing or business segment programs for a product or product line by collecting, analyzing, and reporting marketing and sales performance data.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategizes promotional, marketing, and communication programs for all specified products and services and produces standard management reporting
Researches and compiles business and industry competitive data to analyze and develop tactics to achieve strategic goals
Manages sales information, projections, and other meaningful data and prepares forecasts on market evolution and company products
Leads the execution of marketing strategies including advertising, packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans, and future product development
Provides short term and long term strategic direction
Prepares and/or provides guidance in the preparation and delivery of training and sales tools
Acts as the subject matter expert and lead of special projects pertaining to specified products and services
Understands industry research around customer behaviors, new product offerings, new providers, and regulatory impacts
Manages vendor relationships including responding and sending requests, managing risks, and ensuring compliance adherence
Leads risk management efforts throughout the life cycle of each product, ensuring proper risk controls and monitoring
Develops products and enhances services to remain competitive while adhering to Regions’ compliance and regulatory standards
Collaborates with sales teams to identify and implement sales tactics and partners with cross-functional teams to execute strategies
Acts as a lead and mentor of the department
Creates and delivers presentations to senior leadership
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Ten (10) years of experience in product development/management, market research, or directly related experience
Preferences
Experience within the financial industry or with a banking institution

Product Manager — Loyalty & Rewards (Mobile) The Consumer Payment Product Manager will oversee end-to-end management of our consumer payments and debit card product suite, driving growth, operational performance, and risk management across all consumer payment channels. The role requires deep domain expertise in retail banking payments and leadership to connect product strategy to business outcomes.
A Successful Candidate Should
Possess a mix of business and technical savvy with a passion for consumer payments and ability to drive ideas to reality
Be strategic with deep banking product knowledge and cross-functional execution capability
Partner with strategy, finance, digital, account servicing, operations, risk, fraud, compliance, data analysis, technology, and other partners across the account lifecycle
Be collaborative and capable of leading in ambiguous environments, owning initiatives and product improvements
Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and data-driven problem solving
Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Development
Drive development and execution of the strategic roadmap for consumer payments, including inbound and outbound money movement and debit card services
Align product roadmaps into a cohesive payments strategy that supports customer needs and drives growth
Identify and prioritize new payment capabilities through business case development and market evaluation
Monitor industry trends, competitors, regulatory changes, and customer behavior to inform product direction
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure timely, aligned execution and issue resolution
Modernize debit processing infrastructure to reduce risk, expand functionality, and support future-ready payments
Payment Product Lifecycle Management & Experience
Oversee the entire lifecycle of consumer payment products and debit cards
Improve digital and in-branch payment experiences and streamline journeys
Oversee vendor relationships with focus on performance and risk compliance
Implement controls to mitigate operational, fraud, and compliance risk
Performance Management
Track and analyze key performance indicators including adoption, usage, profitability, and operational KPIs
Use data analytics to inform decisions and provide actionable insights
Prepare and present business cases and performance updates to stakeholders
Partner with Finance to develop forecasts and track results
Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
10+ years of experience in financial services, with at least 5 in payments
Proven track record of managing consumer banking products and/or payments
